Sean lives in the village of Prospect, Nova Scotia, which is part of Mi’kma’ki — the traditional territory of the Mi’kmaq peoples. SKC supports the goals of the Canadian Truth and Reconciliation Commission. SKC has been fortunate to work in collaboration with First Nations and Inuit communities and organizations.

Sean is co-founder of the non-profit Climate Story Network, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Nature Trust. SKC is a member of the International Association for Community Development, the Building to Zero Exchange, and the Building Decarbonization Alliance.
