Your community group, co-op, small business, or social enterprise understands its own context and key climate and inclusive sustainable development solutions – the why & the what.

Led by SKC, Climate Project Support online training workshops will be offered by a cohort of consultants with extensive experience working with non-profits, social enterprises, co-ops, and community groups.

  • 1. Design thinking and human-centred strategy.
    2. Stakeholder/ rightsholder/ community engagement.
    3. Developing project concepts and a Theory of Change.
    4. Developing a performance framework and evaluation design.
    5. Community-based communications and marketing.
    6. Talking about climate change in a way that’s empowering not overwhelming.
    7. Facilitation skills and managing meeting conflict.

    Workshops are:

    • Half-day online training sessions

    • Affordable workshops - includes digital handouts

    • Presented by experienced consultants

  • The training is offered by a consortium of consultants with extensive experience working with non-profits, social enterprises, co-ops, community groups, and equity-deserving groups.

    They are also experienced trainers & facilitators, and have expertise in all training topics.

    The initiative is coordinated by Sean Kelly, who has over 30 years of experience in program development & management, strategic planning, inclusive leadership, communications, and adult education. He has worked for organizations including Clean Foundation, Cuso, and Impact Organizations of Nova Scotia.

  • Online training workshops will be offered in the Fall of 2024.
